Meet our wonderful team of dancers!
Professional Ballroom competitor and instructor, she is a Corpus Christi local who grew up dancing all variations of dance styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary and Ballroom with Munro Ballet Studios and Corpus Christi Ballet. She began teaching Ballet and Jazz at the age of 14 and at the age of 16 was teaching Ballroom dancing full time. At 17 years old she began competing professionally in American Rhythm and is still currently the youngest professional on the NDCA circuit. She has been awarded Top Female Teacher and has been one of the Top Teachers at multiple competitions around the nation. She has trained with some of the most famous and top-notch professionals in the dance world. Her goal is to expand and share her love of dancing and fitness with Corpus Christi and the surrounding areas.
Studio Manager, Ballroom & Fitness Instructor
Jaclyn is a Corpus Christi native and began training professionally with Angela in 2017. She loves dancing and fitness and played various sports through high school outside of dancing including Golf. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and is a TAMUCC alumni.
Hip Hop Instructor
Sammy is a native of Corpus Christi, TX. He sought out dance at a young age before beginning his formal training. His natural talent for break-dancing grew into something special.Sammy began his formal training under the direction of Shawnee Jones-Bonette at Del Mar College were he showcased his early work and found his niche as a choreographer and teacher. Sammy was awarded a scholarship and was able to study multiple forms of dance including ballet, modern and jazz under the direction of Nancy Sulik with Corpus Christi Concert Ballet and had roles in The Nutcracker. Sammy has worked with an array of artists including Paula Deanda, Unison and La Conquista.
Ballroom & Martial Arts Instructor
Sean has danced most of his life starting at age 12, with Munro Ballet Studios and The Corpus Christi Ballet. He is trained in Classical Ballet, Ballroom and Jazz. He is also a Martial Arts instructor and he loves to sing. He began his Ballroom training in 2016 with Angela Murray.
Jazz, Contemporary, Jazz Funk, Heels, Hip Hop & Fitness Instructor
Taylor Greer is from Garland, Texas. She graduated from South Garland High School where she was a 3 year member of the Southern Belles drill team and was Captain of the group in her senior year. After graduating from high school, Taylor attended Kilgore College where she was a member of the Kilgore Rangerettes. During her time as a Rangerette, Taylor was a member of the Rangerette Swingsters and was a dance soloist at the annual spring show, Revels. Taylor has also served as a choreographer for Revels in the past 5 years. In 2010, Taylor was selected to dance on stage during the Super Bowl halftime show featuring the Black Eye Peas. Upon completing her Associate of Arts degree at Kilgore, Taylor attended Chapman University in Orange, California where she auditioned and was accepted into the prestigious dance program. While at Chapman, Taylor was selected in both 2012 and 2013 as one of a few dancers to represent Chapman University in their Dance Tour performing throughout the state of California. After graduating from Chapman with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance, Taylor moved to West Hollywood in Los Angeles and continued her training as a dancer where she has worked with and appeared in videos for talented choreographers for two years. In 2016, Taylor moved back to Dallas, Texas to pursue her career as a dance instructor and choreographer. While teaching and choreographing for studios in the Dallas area, she audition and made the 2017-2018 Dallas Cowboy Rhythm & Blue Dancer (a high-energy co-ed hip-hop dance team). Taylor also had the privilege of being on staff with Joffrey Ballet in Frisco, Texas where she served as an instructor teaching contemporary and hip-hop classes.
Ballet and Heels Instructor
Ashley Harrison was a company dancer for Lone Star Ballet of Amarillo for 7 years. Ashley has performed in The Nutcracker, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, among other shows. With Lone Star Ballet, she was a guest artist in New York City Broadway of the National Tour of Wizard of Oz. She has trained with instructors from Tulsa Ballet, New York City Ballet, and Miami City Ballet. She then moved to Oklahoma where she was apart of the Broken Arrow High School drill team for 2 years. They won multiple competitions in Pom, Jazz, and Kick. As an alumni member of Corpus Christi Dance Collective, Ashley won many awards as a competitive dancer. She was also featured in a music video for Quentin Arispe and has done other video commercials for local businesses. She is now a teacher for Corpus Christi Dance Collective as well as Ballroom By The Bay.
Tyra was born and raised in Corpus Christi and began dancing at a young age starting with ballet. She also participated in sports while growing up including volleyball, track, and golf. She began her Ballroom training in 2019, briefly before Ballroom By The Bay opened its doors.
